After I had made the woman’s pants-suit into Hammer pants and jacket it dawned on us that Hammer was big in the 90′s, not the 80′s Oh well, it was a big hit anyway!

Friday out on the town

Last night we were able to catch an amateur comedy night downtown in this neat old Gothic theater.  Going to comedy night had been something I had wanted to do in Boston before we left but wasn’t able to fit it in.

The openers or “even more amateur comedians” tried really hard to be funny.  There was a mixed batch, some were awkward and not too great and others were awkward and somehow funny.  A few of the paid comedians that came on later in the night were pretty good.  For $5 it was totally worth it!

After that was clubbing.  We found a diverse bunch in the rappin’ club.  Even though it was clearly not the time or place for old school moves, Justin and I had to break out the sprinkler and the ‘Old Faithful’ (I’ll show some of you this awesome move on the Island next week).  I’m glad even though Portland is a down to earth relaxed area they still have dance clubs!
